State-of-the-Art Cancer Treatment with No Surgical Side Effects

CyberKnife is the only radiotherapy system that is able to track the tumor in real time, delivering high doses of radiation directly at the tumor. With sub-millimeter accuracy, this precision minimizes exposure to surrounding organs, tissues, and nerves.

Lung Cancer

Our TrueBeam STx system in combination with a lumpectomy is a viable alternative to the major surgery required during a mastectomy. We offer the widest range of breast cancer treatments, delivered by experienced cancer specialists and radiation oncologists.

Breast Cancer

The CyberKnife system is so precise (sub-millimeter accuracy) that it can automatically track natural organ movement of the prostate and adjust the treatment accordingly, which allows us to significantly reduce the side effects that accompany radiation therapy.

Prostate Cancer

The CyberKnife System has evolved from the conventional technology of the Gamma Knife to improve patient comfort during and after treatment and expand where treatment be delivered throughout the body – not just the brain and cervical spine.

Brain Cancer

At Spokane CyberKnife, we treat people — not just their cancer. From diagnosis to treatment to recovery, we are here to help. We work closely with your primary care physician and other members of your treatment team to give you the best cancer care available.

What Happens Before, During, and After Treatment

The first step towards radiation therapy is meeting with a radiation oncologist. After a physical exam and review of your medical history, your team of doctors will develop a unique treatment plan.

1

External beam radiation therapy is conducted in a series of outpatient visits over one to 10 weeks with a minimal recuperation period, so you don’t have to stay at the hospital and can be back at home the same day.

2

After treatment is completed, you radiation oncologist will meet with you to make sure your recovery is progressing on target during your follow-up appointments.
